A Place that Reflects the Dreams of Citizen Roh Moo-hyun,
and Stands in Harmony with Nature

The Home of Roh Moo-hyun is where the 16th president of the republic of Korea, Roh Moo-hyun, lived after his retirement from office on February 25, 2008 until he passed away in 2009.
He returned to his hometown upon leaving office, demonstrating the practice of balanced national development which was pursued during his Participatory Government.
This place was the base camp where President Roh committed himself to ecological farming, building a village that drew in residents, and researching and writing on the topics of democracy and progressivism.
